The Minister of Uganda for Ethics and Integrity, Dr. James Nsaba Buturo has warned women in Uganda against indecent dressing.
The Minister says indecent dressing is responsible for rape, defilement and murder after rape in Uganda and other parts of the world.
He says it is against African cultures and God’s principles for women (girls inclusive) to put on skimpy dresses.
The Minister says provocative dressing is dangerous to a woman’s security. He was addressing journalists today at Uganda Media Centre in Kampala.
He says some University girls are fond of wearing mini skirts and blouses which leave the back and stomachs of a woman uncovered. Nsaba Buturo reminds women and the rest of Ugandans at large that that HIV is still spreading.
He advises girls and women to dress clothes which do not expose their thighs to people.
