Police have today threatened to close all video halls in Kampala that associate with drug addicts and other hardcore criminals.

The Spokesperson of Police, Judith Nabakooba says that Police of late has arrested so many hardcore criminals and drug addicts from video halls around Kampala, especially at night.

Nabakooba says that police also get complaints from the public that video halls are acting as the supply points of opium, marijuana and home for robbers.

She was today addressing journalists at the head offices of the Rapid Response Unit in Kireka, a Kampala suburb.

Nabakooba threatens that police will soon carry out an operation to different video halls and arrest their owners and managers who let criminals to use their video halls.
